And to think that I started reading it (in the school library) in 1957, and have them all since then bound into yearly volumes. It's amazing how things have progressed, although I still seem to use card and wood, can't seem to work with plastic! ps, and my layout's still not finished.

Comes across really well. Should get some modellers going who are worried about how to jump in and make a start. The psychological barrier is often greater than any ability issues. And once you've started, confidence grows.
Hence the ready-built baseboard kits. One less hurdle to jump.
