Film Friday - The Minerva Manning Wardle

While I'm not making a habit of doing box opening videos (no one sends me anything to open anyway) it was worth picking the camera up during the track testing to demonstrate yesterday's gushing report of this little beast. It does fit well with the brief of the layout, but at £255. is a little beyond my pocket at the moment.

  1. That does run nice and the layout looks great too - a great advert for O. I think I'm getting those 'should I change scale?' feelings after that video!

    1. Proving you stick to the smaller stuff and not bogie diesels, it's a pretty easy shift using the control equipment you'll already have. Getting your 'eye in' is the hardest part.

  2. Doesn't it run beautifully. A joy to watch. And I wish I could build points that work as smoothly as Peco, nary a lurch, but I've just got a couple of 31.5mm gauges from Roxey which might help.

    1. I went for the longer standard type of Peco points rather than the setrack versions just because of this.

  3. Beutiful, both looking and running. But that cab looks awefully empty and there's the problem I have mostly with O scale, compared to N-HO-OO, the very small number of decently posed and proportioned figures that are available. Not allowing for my abilities (not great) at painting them! Great video

    1. The box packaging suggests the custom Modelu figures for the loco.
