Hopwood. OO gauge model railway layout.

The baseboards are three White Rose Modelworks 900mm x 400mm units giving an overall length of around 8'10". The general vibe of the scene was to represent a fairly generic urban station that could suggest a post steam period and be mainly run with DMUs, with some allowance for parcels and NPCS.

The layout was first shown at the 2019 Warley exhibition as part of the Peco trade stand, though its first general show was not until early 2020 where it was stocked with items of the blue diesel period and mainly of a vintage age in model terms. Due to global events this was its last showing  as all following exhibitions that had been arranged were cancelled. With no further showings, Hopwood was sold on during 2020.

As you would expect, the scenic items for the layout were mostly  drawn from the Peco/Wills/Ratio ranges, though there are items from Dapol/Airfix as well. The track is all Peco code 100 with insulfog points operated using  wire-in-tube.
