The Parkside Dundas VoR coach in it's cutdownedness shape. Basically 1.5 compartments shorter that the original. The pair on Wood End were very similar , but built by Mr. Hill, one with a brake ducket added.
A nice introduction to cutting and shutting.
Isn't it strange how the prototype can often get it wrong?
ReplyDeleteThese coach kits always look far too long if assembled as per reality......although I suppose if pulled by a VoR 2-6-2 tank or something similarly huge, they might look right. I suspect the tight curves most of us use in 009 don't help either. Yours looks nicely proportioned Chris. I take it this is one of the re-tooled kits? If so, are the match board grooves better than on the old ones?
