VoR coach

The Parkside Dundas VoR coach in it's cutdownedness shape. Basically 1.5 compartments shorter that the original. The pair on Wood End were very similar , but built by Mr. Hill, one with a brake ducket added.
A nice introduction to cutting and shutting.

  1. Isn't it strange how the prototype can often get it wrong?
These coach kits always look far too long if assembled as per reality......although I suppose if pulled by a VoR 2-6-2 tank or something similarly huge, they might look right. I suspect the tight curves most of us use in 009 don't help either. Yours looks nicely proportioned Chris. I take it this is one of the re-tooled kits? If so, are the match board grooves better than on the old ones?
