Art of card
The Art of Compromise plan made a bit of a leap over the last couple of days. The bridge is now fitted and the roadway cut in. I'm now weaving the honeycomb of card for the platform and the bank behind out of mounting card off-cuts. this whole project is now taking a differnt significance as it by default the serial project for the magazine.

What couplings are you going to use, Chris? You've probably already said and I've forgotten. You may notice that I've found my google account and managed to recover and rest the password. Only a matter of time before I lose it again I expect. The iPad is still bent, just in different places.
ReplyDeleteProbably small T/Ls, maybe the Airfix type. It's not an exhibition piece so I'm more than happy with that.

Are they still available? Second-hand I suppose.
ReplyDeleteShame they weren't adopted by other manufacturers as they look so much better than the huge Hornby things.

Hi Simon,
ReplyDeleteTry looking for Fleischmann "exchange" couplings, too.

That's a good idea....I'd forgotten about those! Takes me back to when my dad used to know the Fleischmann importer in the 1970s and all sorts of random items of H0 rolling stock turned up, fitted, of course, with those couplings!
